\Ob*fus"cate\, a. [L. obfuscatus, p. p. of obfuscare to darken; ob (see {Ob-}) + fuscare, fuscatum, to darken, from fuscus dark.] Obfuscated; darkened; obscured. [Obs.] [Written also {offuscate}.] --Sir. T. Elyot.
