Casements lined with creeping herbs. --Cowper. {Ceeping crowfoot} (Bot.), a plant, the {Ranunculus repens}. {Creeping snowberry}, an American plant ({Chiogenes hispidula}) with white berries and very small round leaves having the flavor of wintergreen.
