\Vict"ual*er\, n. [F. victuailleur.] [Written also {victualler}.] 1. One who furnishes victuals. 2. One who keeps a house of entertainment; a tavern keeper; an innkeeper. --Shak. 3. A vessel employed to carry provisions, usually for military or naval use; a provision use; a provision ship. 4. One who deals in grain; a corn factor. [Scot.] {Licensed victualer}.
