\Sat"ir*ize\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Satirized}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Satirizing}.] [Cf. F. satiriser.] To make the object of satire; to attack with satire; to censure with keenness or severe sarcasm. It is as hard to satirize well a man of distinguished vices, as to praise well a man of distinguished virtues. --Swift.
