(Zo["o]l.) (a) A titmouse, especially the great titmouse ({Parus major}) and the blue titmouse ({P. c[oe]ruleus}). [Prov. Eng.] (b) The dunlin. (c) A fish; the bogue, or box. {Creeping oxeye} (Bot.) a West Indian composite plant ({Wedelia carnosa}). {Seaside oxeye} (Bot.), a West Indian composite shrub ({Borrichia arborescens}).
