Interlocutory discourses in the Holy Scriptures. --Fiddes. 2. (Law) Intermediate; not final or definitive; made or done during the progress of an action. Note: An order, sentence, decree, or judgment, given in an intermediate stage between the commencement and termination of a cause, is called interlocutory.
