Pavia}. {Small buckeye} is {[AE]. paviflora}. {Sweet buckeye}, or {Yellow buckeye}, is {[AE]. flava}. 2. A cant name for a native in Ohio. [U.S.] {Buckeye State}, Ohio; -- so called because buckeye trees abound there.
