\Stole\, n. [L. stolo, -onis.] (Bot.) A stolon.
\Stole\, n. [AS. stole, L. stola, Gr. ? a stole, garment, equipment, fr. ? to set, place, equip, send, akin to E. stall. See {Stall}.] 1. A long, loose garment reaching to the feet. --Spenser.
