the family {Oriolid[ae]}. They are usually conspicuously
colored with yellow and black. The European or golden
oriole ({Oriolus galbula}, or {O. oriolus}) has a very
musical flutelike note.

{Icterus}, belonging to the family {Icterid[ae]}. See
