\Mu"dar\, n. [Hind. mad[=a]r.] (Bot.) Either one of two asclepiadaceous shrubs ({Calotropis gigantea}, and {C. procera}), which furnish a strong and valuable fiber. The acrid milky juice is used medicinally.
