Krait In Webster's Dictionary

\Krait\, n. [Native name.] (Zo["o]l.) A very venomous snake of India ({Bungarus c[oe]ruleus}), allied to the cobra. Its upper parts are bluish or brownish black, often with narrow white streaks; the belly is whitish.
